In Party Mode

So my little princess has a birthday in June, and being me, I have already started planning.

She loves Princess Ariel, from The Little Mermaid, so we are having a Mermaid themed party. Since I live on Pinterest, I am am overwhelmed with ideas, but cannot stop pinning.

We (my husband and I) have finally agreed on an invitation.

Here's our Pinterest inspiration of a Mermaid Pop Up Invitation. Of course, I have tweaked it some, so the mermaid will resemble Ariel a bit more. But I am in full creation mode and can't step away from my computer.

Well, here's the struggle.  Our little princess LOVES the color red, so she's not very excited about all the blues, sea-foam greens, and purples that mommy is talking about doing. So we had a conversation about how we want her friends to feel as though they are under the sea, so after much discussion and negotiation, she agreed to the color scheme as long as there is some red! OK, fine! I still have to use Ariel and lobsters, so I think I'll have some red in there somewhere.
